PROJECT: Fencing

I thought I'd pick up a new sport... ok, not really! But as you know we moved into a different place July 1st and because it's on a busy street we put up a FENCE! We found this fencing material posted on KSL (Utah's craigslist) and so while my Dad was here he made magic happen!

Isn't my Dad the best?! We are so grateful & 

can sleep better at night knowing Jocelyn can't run into the street!

And her lil taste of freedom! Derek is superman and get's to mow every other week!

Meanwhile, we had a short time period that allowed us to paint before the new carpet was put in! 

So, I'm so grateful for the help from Sophie, my dad & my mom! 

YAY FOR NO MORE CINDER BLOCK WHITE WALLS! 

(no offense to our friends still in TVA) 

I call this color, Chocolate Milk! hahaha 

It was a shock the first few strokes onto a white wall, but with everything in it, I LOVE IT!

My Mom is a pro! She did the edge-that's tricky stuff.  

We also painted our room a light but warm grey & JoJo's room is actually all white. 

Thanks, dear landlord, for letting us paint! 

... and Pochacco helped too! (this is my parent's dog) and YES, I named her when I was in 7th grade! Haven't you heard of Hello Kitty's friend, the dog... Pochacco!? hahaha

Fresno State is celebrating 100 years! Happy Birthday CSFU! My Dad works in the University Communications department as a Video Producer/ Director & was asked to create a video honoring this momentous occasion! Check out this 3 minute film! I'm so proud of my papa! Charlie Chaplin would admire this kind of work!

Jocelyn's Splish Splash 2nd Birthday Bash!

I can NOT believe it's been a year! Well, I guess I can since a lot has happened, but this is Jocelyn when she turned one. Look at how much they change in just one single year! I saw this and couldn't believe it. :>

A few of Jocelyn's aged friends came to slip & slide around to celebrate her birthday! We went to my Grandparent's back yard to soak up the sun. Here are some of the highlights! Fun lil kiddos with great spunk! The Dad's got to play a lil soccer game too!

We had a special Father's Day

Thanks, Derek, for loving Jocelyn with all that you are! 

You're an excellent Daddy & I couldn't ask for you to love her more! 

She get's SO excited when Daddy comes home! 

It's nice for all of us, they always have Daddy/ Daughter time once he's home. 

He is always making her laugh & giggle! 

He teaches her little tricks, silly dance moves & most recently to pray (with help of course)! 

We are so blessed to have him light up our home! 

I love you, Derek! JoJo does too!

My parents arrived just in time for us to be spoiled! 

My mom got to be with her dad & I got to spend Father's Day with my daddy too! 

It's been a while since that has happened! So what a treat!
