Listening to the nurse :D Being so brave!
We give thanks that Jocelyn's surgery to fix her hernia was perfectly, successfully, and quickly done! She had a very painless recovery! She was drowsy that day but the next morning she was back to her normal peppy self! Thank you, Primary Children's, for making it a smooth process. Jocelyn's only bad moment was putting on the hospital's pj's. But after a couple minutes she was fine and excited to go smell that blue bubblegum! :D
drowsy & going home
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We had a great time! Our food was delicious! It was a team effort by everyone. We mixed up the tradition and didn't have turkey. We had TriTip which was cooked on the BBQ! AMAZZZINGLY yummy! What's tritip you say? OH. WELL! Steak Roast. Go to Costco and look for a package of 2 pieces of meet about $30. You will enjoy it, it's a tender and juicy bottom sirloin! Most people we've talked to here in Utah about it, haven't heard of it. Maybe it's new here?! But California has them! OH Meat Market, how I miss you! ANYWHO... Thank you Natalie, Jeff, Katherine, Andrew & Madeline for coming so far to make the holiday special! LOVE YOU! xox
Derek took Jeff on his first snow mobiling expedition! Apparently it was a bonding experience because of some unexpected turns. They got lost, stuck, lost again, and stuck some more. But made it out alive and proud! They were suppose to go UP that "hill" and couldn't make it. Glad they figured out a way!
Natalie is Derek's oldest sister. Katherine is the oldest cousin and Andrew is 16 hours? older than Jocelyn... not even a whole day! Jocelyn prays for each individual cousin EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! Really. And if we are saying the prayer she interjects to make sure they get in there. So sweet. She loves her family. And so do we.
Quick family photo while we were out on a walk :0)
First one all together.
