Who could say no to that! Lucky for us my Aunt Lynne had this timeshare for the week and they weren't going to be able to use it the whole time. So we took the mid week shift! It was perfect. It was on Derek's Day off! We went once he got off work and came back for his afternoon shift! It was raining so we really didn't do much, but after all our traveling it was PERFECT! THANK YOU AUNT LYNNE & UNCLE MEL! We are spoiled ROTTEN!

Forever Friends

SOOOOO I have been with out the Internet for far too long! Here are the pictures of our fun, almost over, Utah adventures!

We went and met the Ford's newest addition!! He is so cute!

We girls had fun together and so did the boys... all cozied up on their couch.

My BFF & Snow College Roomie, Jerilyn Pace, had a baby shower at the right time! I was able to go! It was soooo fun seeing her prego with her lil bundle of BOY on the way!

Then we got to see the Godfrey's! Ryan is Derek's ole Mission buddy. Ryan & Natalie had their baby girl Mae just 5 days after Jocelyn was born! So it was fun to see how similar they were in size and personality! We enjoyed a yummy BBQ & "Derek Dominated" at Settlers of Qatan! hahaha

They were SOOO cute together! I wished that we could be closer for them to hang out. They were seriously soo alike it was KooKoo

I never thought I would do it, but I did. I bought crocs! These puppies are super comfy! A nice treat for the foot.

JoJo ALWAYS on the GO! This is the beautiful backyard we have been playing in... she loves checkin out the flowers and playing in the water. Such nice grass and we get a perfect view of the AIRPLANES that fly by! She looks and points! She is sooo excited about them. Hopefully she will be so excited to be on one in 15 days that she will sit still for 6 hours! ... hmmm doubt it!

The City with a Salty Lake

ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHA y'all!

So here are some pictures from the JONES family! Aaron & Shanae! These are my friends in TVA... well, E building to be exact! We are missing Melissa in the picture cause she's outta town and now I'm outta town! I love these girls! They are my Ohana! Aren't they beautiful!

This is the emotion of a 5 & a half hour flight to Seattle overnight then to LA an hour later for an additional 2 hours! AH

I am so so sSOOOOooOOOSOOOOOO happy to report that it was great! I was sweatin bullets it would be a disaster! Jocelyn is just loving her freedom too much these days. Sitting on my lap that long didn't seem like it would happen! But the overnight flight she slept for 5 whole solid hours! I was thanking Heavenly Father the whole night! I don't think that plane full of people appreciated how lucky they were! :> The 2 hour flight wasn't as good, but still not bad! So now we must hope the flight home in July is just as amazing!

I have some fun pictures to upload and talk more about but until then, I just wanted to update you all that Salt Lake City is treating us like ROYALTY! We have been so blessed by family! We are at that point were the words Thank You just don't cut it! We had such a beautiful QUICK time staying with Christy & Ray in Camarillo. Getting to visit with Blaise, Laura & dashing William! He is so fun to listen to! So cute! And... an even shorter visit with Jeffrey :(

We enjoyed In-N-Out and a couple of special guests from Fresno! (Thanks Mom & Dad for letting us borrow the car for the summer! It was nice to see you & look forward to seeing you again in 3 weeks!) I wish that we had had more time to see friends in Ventura County but we just didn't! On the road again to Lost Wages aka Vegas. It was nice to have Christy ride along with us! Played fun games and got to catch up! So nice to get to know her better and better!

THEN We had arrived! The Hammels: Jeff, Natalie, Katherine & Drew welcomed us and it was like staying at the RITZ! It was so nice to stay with them. Such a beautiful new home in a gorgeous neighborhood. We got to celebrate Drew & JoJo's early 1 year birthday with cupcakes, presents & songs! Too fun! It was nice to see Drew all grown up! He is one smart cookie! He was such a good listener! But again, just one night and we Hit the Road, JACK! ( but we'll be coming back for sure!) Derek was a trooper and drove us all the way to Taylorsville Utah!

Jocelyn was great! I think driving with her is much less stressful for me! We enjoyed the beauty of the mountains, the rocks, and big cities. The ability to go faster than 60 mph was refreshing! There was even a "test strip" of 80 mph! Derek was singing! ;> We came to realize that were ever we stay we are surrounded! In Hawaii it's Ocean and Utah it's Mountains. Such beauty here. It nice to see all the temples on the way it. Derek & I made a goal of attending a new temple each week! Hopefully we can do it!

So, we made it. Safe & sound! Uncle Bruce & Aunt Candi greeted with Aloha! They have remodeled the place & it is soo nice! I think living in TVA really humbles us! Any wall that's not cinder block or painted a color aside from white is just so foreign! hahaha So, I think that's why I have been so impressed with the looks of these places! The decor! These ladies have great taste! ANYWAYS, that was a tangent! So, we are in the cool basement with the largest tv & bed I have ever seen in my life! Aunt Candi has been so hospitable and helpful! Jocelyn loves playing with her.

Also, my Aunt Lynne & Uncle Mel let us borrow a heap of baby items that are just no fun transporting! So that was a HUGE lifesaver! We have a highchair and port-a-crib and a CAR to make life easier! Ken took us on a test drive to the Residence Inn Marriott just to make sure Derek knew where he was going. We got to see some of downtown and really were impressed. It looks so much nicer than the last time I was there. Derek was very excited and much more confident knowing where everything was! Thanks Ken!!! Then Granny B & Grandpa made sure that I knew how to get to Target & get those essentials that we were missing. So nice to be taken care of! SOOO nice!

Derek's 1st day: I hope he will blog about it... but the text I got in the middle of the day was that everything was going "GREAT!" He gets to work with friendly, fun, experience people and he is excited to get back tomorrow! He was told he would only stay a few hours and ended up coming home an hour after the 8 hour day most people have! He volunteered to cover an injured girls shuttle shift and ventured the unknown. He got to see all that they offered there at Marriott and got to meet the GM. He is so excited. Nothing could make me more happy than seeing him enjoy this experience like he is! He'll be working 40 weeks and learning everything from the bottom up! Joseph is such a great friend & boss to Derek!

Well, I'm up late. I'm afraid Jocelyn & I are still on Hawaii time a bit. We miss our Ohana in Hawaii but are so blessed to be with family & friends here! We are grateful for everyone's love & help! Take care... talk to you soon
