Derek had a week long sales training meeting in Seattle the first week of March and we were able to fly up for a long weekend! It was JoJo & my first time being in Washington! It was so fun! It wasn't all rain so we got lucky!
I kept feeling like something was so familiar about Washington while I was there... and then it hit me! It's the trees! I just KNEW Edward and Jacob were hiding in them! HAHA big fat joke! Ya, roll your eyes all you want! But I did feel like the movie portrayed that TREE FILLED STATE quite well! :D
Brian & Astrid made us feel right at home and we had lots of fun packed in just a few days. Astrid, Rachel, Rowen, Jocelyn & I went to the Seattle Aquarium! LOVED IT! Jocelyn loves animals and fish! So it's always a good time at any aquarium or zoo! Check it out!

So Derek was born and raised in Bellevue Washington, if you didn't know that... so this was the perfect opportunity for him to take us around where he grew up. The schools had all changed. But his home was there and he had fun looking back. We even stopped at a few of his friends parents homes in hopes to surprise them. Irene, we stopped by but missed you! It was Saturday because we had to leave Sunday! Sorry we couldn't make Sunday dinner! :( And I am sorry to all our other friends that live in Washington but our 3 days were packed full! We hope to go back soon! So let us come visit you then! xox
We didn't get to go inside but I was there! YAY!

Looks like you guys had tons of fun. I still have never been to Pike's Market or up the Space Needle. Looks like I've got some catching up to do!

We stopped by Derek's work the other to get some directions. We'll have to get together when we get back.
Yay! I desperately want to go to Washington! It looks so beautiful....and I know Edward and Jacob are hiding in the trees...I get you, I'm a fellow Twilighter. I think we should take a road trip and go to Forks, Port Angeles, and LaPush...what do you say? haha
